Meet Andy

For more than two decades, Andy Whirrett has dedicated his life to helping others learn, grow, and experience the world around them. With 22 years in education as both a teacher and principal, he understands that some of life’s greatest lessons happen beyond the classroom.

His passion for educational travel began years ago when he started leading student trips to Washington, D.C. Since then, he has successfully organized and led 15 educational tours, helping hundreds of students experience our nation’s history where it happened. Those trips inspired the creation of Greatest Spectacle Tours.

But Andy’s love of travel doesn’t stop there.

Together with his wife and their four children, he has traveled thousands of miles across all 50 states, exploring everything from big cities and historic landmarks to breathtaking national parks and hidden small-town treasures. Those adventures have reinforced his belief that travel has the power to educate, inspire, and create lifelong memories.

Andy is passionate about American history, enjoys discovering the unique stories that make each destination special, and believes every itinerary should balance education, adventure, and fun.
